The creamy, nutty porridge is made from only two key ingredients – adzuki beans and milk, and it’s a little sweet, making it the perfect way to start your day.

Ingredients

1 cup organic Adzuki beans
-
2 cups water
-
2 cups milk or milk substitute
-
2 tbsp organic coconut blossom sugar
Directions
Soak adzuki beans for 2 hours. Rinse and drain.
Add soaked adzuki beans and water into a pot, bring to a boil.
Switch to low heat and simmer for 60-90 minutes until beans are extremely soft.
Add coconut sugar or brown sugar and milk, slowly stir and bring to a boil again.
Transfer the porridge into a bowl. Ready to serve.
