2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 tsp grated ginger

1/4 cup chicken broth
-
2 tbsp honey
-
1 tbsp hoisin sauce

Directions
Heat a large pot of salted water over high heat. Blanch the broccoli for 3 minutes. Discard water and set broccoli aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, and black pepper. Add the chicken pieces and toss to coat.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Add the garlic and ginger to the skillet and cook for 1 minute. Add the chicken broth, honey, and hoisin sauce to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce has thickened.
Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cover the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until heated through.
Serve the sesame chicken with broccoli over cooked white rice. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
